Fort Worth Ferals

PANTHER CITY FERAL CAT COALITION
Improving the lives of Fort Worth’s feral and community cats.

Volunteer

Volunteer positions are available for:

Trappers: Set out and monitor traps, pick up cats, transport trapped cats to the spay/neuter clinic, pick them up after surgery and take them to the designated recouping place.

Fosters: Provide a temporary home for cats and kittens until they are able to be placed somewhere else.

Bottle feeders: Fosters who are familiar with, or willing to learn how to care for neo-natal kittens.

Recoupers: Provide a safe, quiet, climate controlled space, often in a garage or other heated air conditioned building, for the cats to recover from their surgery for a day or more. Give the cats food and water and check on them to be sure they are recovering with no complicatiTransporters: Transport cats to and from the spay/neuter clinic for people who have trapped cats but are unable to transport them.

These are just a few of the tasks we need help with. We can always use people to reach out to the public by giving talks and presentations to various groups, and to spread the word around the community.
